Mr. Zakian began his distinguished career in 1985. His extensive experience spans surveys, inspections, insurance, P&I, claims handling, incident investigation (damages, fires, catastrophes), advisory roles, legal surveys, superintendency, dry docking, engineering, shipbuilding, planning, and auditing across all vessel types (including VLCC, ULCC, offshore units, rigs) and non-marine sectors. He has held significant positions in international inspection bodies, including Branch Manager and Senior Surveyor at Bureau Veritas, and has worked within shipping companies gaining experience in fleet operations, technical management, transit, crew management, supply, and chartering.
